Naomi Elliott is the driving force behind the recent success of Concept Labs. Her ability to lead differently to others in the manufacturing field has seen the business transform from a small-scale manufacturer to an international supplier. Her core strengths and focuses are customer service, structure and process, environmental sustainability and a positive attitude.
Naomi uses her positive mindset to support the team to work to the best of their ability. She demonstrates a can-do attitude and takes inspiration from her studies, global experiences for work and travel, and other successful business models to find solutions for continuous improvement.
Naomi’s desire to provide top level customer service means Concept Labs is able to assist companies from start-ups to large corporations. She is passionate about providing real and relevant solutions for her customers, and loves nothing more than seeing their concept come to life.

Sue Jackson

Sue and her husband Barry founded Concept Labs back in 1998. She remains an integral part of the business and now works closely with her daughter and General Manager Naomi Elliott to support her in the day to day operations.
Sue is passionate about steering Concept Labs in a continually more environmentally friendly direction.
With a wealth of experience in the industry, Sue is great at keeping things rolling and coming up with new ideas to foster the growth of the business. Sue ensures that the ethos and quality of products at Concept Labs remains the same despite how large it’s grown in recent years.
Sue and her husband Barry founded Concept Labs back in 1998. She remains an integral part of the business and now works closely with her daughter and General Manager Naomi Elliott to support her in the day to day operations.

Barry Jackson

In the 1990’s, Barry worked as a salesman in Cairns representing other companies’ products. When there became a shortage in supply and he was unable to provide stock to his customers, Barry acted on this gap in the market. He originally contracted another manufacturer to produce his specially-formulated cosmetic and cleaning products for supply into childcare, education, and industrial sectors.Barry soon found that lead times on products were being extended and again ran into supply issues. Necessity drives innovation and soon enough, Barry and Sue brought their manufacturing in-house.
Barry is proud to see how far Concept Labs has come over the decades with both its own product range and as a contract manufacturer. He is now semi-retired, but the team loves seeing his friendly face whenever he comes by to lend a helping hand.

Operations Manager
As operations manager, Perry has played a pivotal role in building the manufacturing arm of Concept Labs from inception to what it is today. He is responsible for overseeing operations within the company and ensuring all safety and quality regulations are met.
Perry is constantly working to improve processes to keep quality, productivity, and efficiency at a high level. With a Bachelor of Science degree and pharmaceutical GMP training, Perry is passionate about guiding the processing of raw materials into finished products ready for sale.
An avid outdoors lover, you will often find Perry swimming, surfing, and camping with his family. As for his favourite food...does beer count?

As our Production Manager, Ashlee leads a team of 18 staff at only 27 years of age. She has worked at Concept Labs for 4 years and started as our Print & Design Technician, holding a Bachelors degree in Computer Based Design.
Over the years, Ashlee developed an in-depth understanding of our Production operations and very quickly moved into managing it entirely. Ashlee oversees the hard-working team to ensure they cap, fill, and label all bottles to the highest standard. Her high attention to detail ensures every order is impeccably prepared and meets all internal and customer requirements.
On her days off, Ashlee loves spending her free time with friends, family, and her two beautiful dogs

Project Manager
A master in organisation, Indy is across all projects at Concept Labs to ensure they’re running smoothly and on-time. She oversees both internal and external projects, including product development, rebranding, reformulations, and range development (just to name a few).
With a background in mechanics and labouring, she found her passion for the manufacturing industry when she joined Concept Labs as an Administration Assistant. Her dedication to Concept Labs resulted in her being promoted to middle management, and she is constantly working towards the betterment of the company.
Outside of work Indy enjoys spending time at the beach, cooking, rugby, and painting.

Purchasing Manager
Shelly is an integral part of the Concept Labs team as our Purchasing Manager and is constantly working to find the best available packaging and raw materials to meet our quality and quantity requirements.
She is in regular contact with suppliers, and is responsible for finalising purchases and tracking the incoming shipment of goods. Shelly’s high level of attention to detail makes her the perfect person for this job.
Both at work and in her personal life Shelly is fun and caring, and on her days off enjoys heading to the gym, playing sports, and gardening. She enjoys any food she doesn’t have to cook herself.
Shelly is an integral part of the Concept Labs team as our Purchasing Manager and is constantly working to find the best available packaging and raw materials to meet our quality and quantity requirements.

As the Quality and Compliance Manager, Glenda is responsible for ensuring that our products and processes meet all internal, ethical, and legal requirements.
Our consistency in producing high quality products is a result of her hard work and knowledge of ISO, GMP, TGA, APVMA, and all other regulating bodies. Glenda is also diligent about maintaining our Internal Management System in compliance with ISO and GMP standards.
While she is fiercely determined, Glenda’s caring and fun personality shines through in everything she does.
When she’s not at work you might find Glenda exploring running trails or indulging in her favourite foods - pizza and chocolate!

Zhiwei Xiao, who likes to go by the name David, works as the Chemist at Concept Labs. David moved to Australia five years ago from China where he worked in the cosmetic and personal care industry for over 20 years.
David is a wealth of information and is a highly valued member of the team. Consistently able to formulate high-quality products with relative ease, David takes customer requirements and market research into account when creating a new formulation.
Outside of work, David enjoys spending time in the outdoors gardening, hiking, travelling, and playing sports like badminton.
